"Like most firms, a large percentage of our employees have children and many find the cost of nurseries
and childcare in the area extremely expensive. We became aware that this was a major concern for some
parents in the company as we were increasingly being approached by staff wanting to know if we provided
any kind of service or help with childcare costs. Therefore, the decision to look into a childcare
voucher scheme was entirely in response to demand driven by our employees. Due to the high levels of
interest expresssed, the Human Resources department decided to introduce a scheme that would help
towards these childcare costs."
