Fledgling Bristol Business Spreads its Wings
Bristol-based specialist employment consultancy, PES, is expanding its operation into London, following a period of rapid growth.
Founded in Bristol just four years ago, PES has opened a London office to meet increasing demand for its services in the South East.
PES has recently expanded its team to more that 20 people and introduced a number of new services. The London office in Old Bailey will be run by Cathy Rouse. It will provide the full range of PES services and consultancy which includes everything from employment law and taxation advice to implementing flexible benefits and share schemes.
PES' new services include a dedicated team of licensed Investors in People practitioners, which are helping companies across the UK achieve this nationally recognised standard.
It has also recently introduced Flexible Benefits consultancy to help smaller firms understand and implement this popular solution to staff recruitment and retention – the employee is given a 'menu' of benefits from which to choose and an amount or 'credit' which can be spent on benefits. These can include traditional benefits such as pension contributions or a company car to the more lifestyle orientated benefits such as additional holiday days, childcare support and gym membership.
To enhance it's offering to employers looking to retain and attract the best staff, PES has also introduced the Premier Childcare Voucher service, which allows businesses to provide employees with childcare vouchers, saving money for both the employer and employee as the vouchers are free of tax and National Insurance Contributions.
Ian Rummels, founder and MD of PES, said: "The opening of the London office, which is a testament to the team's hard work and excellent consultancy, is the highlight of a pivotal year in PES' growth, which has already seen the recruitment of a number of key team members and the introduction of many new services."
